Streetwear Gift Guide for the Holidays: Gifts Sorted by Sizing Risk

Buying clothes for someone else is mostly a sizing problem. The safest streetwear gifts either have no size at all, or come in a wide enough range that you can guess with confidence. This guide is sorted that way: start at the top if you know nothing about their size, and work down as you get more sure.

No size needed: hats and bags

Headwear is the easiest win. Skull Moth is a cuffed beanie with an embroidered skull and moth, stitched rather than printed, and it is one size. Coalfield is the plain version for someone who dresses quietly. Alleycat is a knitted wool hat with two ears at the crown, made in ten colours, and it fits head measurements between 56 and 58 cm.

For caps, Stitch Cat has cartoon cat and Japanese-style embroidery and an adjustable buckle strap, and Smile Face is a retro cotton cap with an adjustable back strap.

Bags avoid sizing altogether. Courier is a mini messenger, 15 x 10 x 7 cm, that holds a phone, wallet and keys and can be carried by hand, on the shoulder or across the body. It comes in four colours. Anvil is a soft burgundy handbag covered in grommet and eyelet studs, with a flap and buckle closure.

Hard to get wrong: oversized tops in a wide size range

Oversized pieces are forgiving because they are meant to sit loose. If you are unsure, pick their usual size; a little too big still looks intentional.

Only if you know their size: pants

Timing your order

Plan on a few weeks. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days (up to 5 in busy periods), and most arrive within 8 to 14 business days of dispatch.
