Matarat — مطارات, Arabic for “airports” — is TUFF (@tufftimee)'s latest single on Blnka Records, out now on YouTube. The caption is characteristically brief: a title card, a release confirmation, nothing more.
By this point, TUFF's name runs through nearly every corner of Blnka Records' catalog — his own 213 Vol. 1 EP, mixing and mastering on Yungzone's El Qarya, production on SALLL's debut single, and a feature on YADOB. Matarat is his return to a solo release after months spent largely crediting other artists' work.
A title about airports, from an artist and label rooted specifically in Cairo, reads like it's pointing outward — toward movement, departure, or distance — though the label hasn't said so directly. What's certain is that TUFF remains the most consistently active name across Blnka Records' entire two-year run.
